Boss Battle: 321 Omega Mk.II

Omega Mk.II is actually three forms of the same monster. His weaknesses are somewhat misleading. He is weak to only one element at a time. While he is weak to that element he absorbs all others. He uses “Barrier Change” to change his form thereby changing his weakness. Rather than troubling yourself trying to determine his weakness, enchant your sword with the non-elemental spell Flare and use ! Rapid Fire.

Just for those people who are waorried about the muliple cast of Encircle from omega... Simply cast Might Guard then most of omega;s Encricle would be useless... In fact as soon as I cast Mighty Guard on my party non of the Encircles worked on me
At level 55-58, Omega Mk 2 is extremely easy, via his exploitable weakness to spell blade+rapid fire+dual wield. As many have pointed out, Firega is usually his initial weakness after the first barrier change. Just make sure everyone but the one person using spell blade has !Sing. Otherwise, be prepared to do a lot of healing as you guess his weakness. To drive the point home - I finished off Omega in one round. The only thing he got to do was a barrier change and a wave cannon, and this was due to being slow on Romeo's ballad.
hmm i don't know about the elixer part.?
one other thing is that you can steal elixers from flaremancers and crystal dragons as a common steal.
you can only steal flame rings from Red Dragons found in Shinryu's Lair
You're gonna hate me for saying this, but I recommend beating Neo Shinryu for the Ultima Weapon before this fight. If you have healers and Flame Rings, you should only be healing after his Wave Cannon attack. Omega Mk. II will also Barrier Change at the beginning of the battle (it's amazing what simple Temple upgrades can do!), but if you guess his weakness wrong, don't fret; he'll probably just cast Curaga on himself twice. If that happens, simply enchant your blade with a different element and try again. Repeat as needed. Hint; his starting weakness is never going to be Lightning, and is almost always Fire.
If you can Dual Wield and use !Spell Blade, you can do an incredible amount of damage by correctly guessing his weakness. If you have a weaker party, know to guess only with Thundaga, Firaga, or Blizzaga - and you might finish him with two consecutive correct guesses.
