Using "Sword"/"Bolt3" and "Sshot" takes him down fast, if you have 2 swords like Excalibur and Masamune equipped. It takes about 3 rounds of "Sshot" to take him down, and for me that was with the Excalibur/Masamune equipped on one character and much weaker weapons on the others. If you give "Time" to the strong character and have him cast "Sword"/"Bolt3" and then "Quick" on himself the next turn, then you get 2 strong attacks in with "Sshot" and that might take him down, otherwise just have all the other 3 with Mimic ability and hope you get 1 more mimiced "Sshot" in before Omega kills you. I haven't tried it with "Quick" myself, but I just thought of it and that should do the job rather well.

Easycake with 2 wizards and 2 warriors. Everyone Mime. The 2 warriors with X-fight, MagSword and !Whitefor eventual heals. The two mages with RedX2, !White and !Time. One of the mages (who have to be the fastests characters) will use Quick, Then Haste2, and finally Float (to avoid Quake). About the warriorrs, the wonderful trick MagSword+X-fight will do well with non-elemental weapons. Have the healers work frequently and Omega will be vanquished far earlier than expected with all the party sane!

Thundaga Sword + Rapid Fire = Omega instantly defeated. The challenge only remains to have the character to use it survive until the Spellblade is ready.

If you don't want to be a KoB cheater, the game programmers did give Omega an Achilles' heel, which I did not discover by myself. It turns out that Omega is not immune to Stop (many bosses are). Like all bosses, he won't be stopped for long, so you need a lot of stop spells. But it's okay because stop spells are free (love song). And it also turns out that Omega can't resist song magic. 4 firerings, 3 bards, 1 mystic knight with jikuu5 (haste2) equals... invulnerability. All for just 180 ability points and some cash. Be sure to space your songs evenly.

Flamerings for absorbing his firebased attacks, Mimics for everyone with Jikuu, MgcSword and X-Fight. Strong non-elemental weapons that take MgcSword. First chance you get with either of the characters, Quick followed by Bolt3 MgcSword and then X-Fight. Piece of cake.
